Day 8 at GDB

Today was a very nice day all around. I had a little issue but it definitely didn’t ruin my day. Fed, watered, relieved my dog this morning and then went back to bed. It was our off day and they were serving brunch for hours. Around 11, I was ready for breakfast so I headed down there with Makiko. She is really great at sitting quietly under tables while I eat. After that I went back and got her harness and we went to the gift shop. I loved everything so I will go back on graduation day to buy whatever I choose. After that we went back and played for a bit in the room, called friends and family, did laundry, went on a walk on the Oregon trail, fed, watered, ate my dinner, groomed and relieved Makiko. I helped another classmate with learning his iPhone, then we went to the free run area and Makiko love love loved it. I’m going to try and attach a video to another post when I get to a computer. I also had a not so great experience with American Airlines but before I post about it I’m going to give them the opportunity to correct it. It seems crazy that we go home next week but I’m really looking forward to going home. I’m enjoying the time off from school though, not gonna lie. Then I skyped with Mom, texted a good friend, now I’m watching Beaches with the other ladies. It’s audio described. I don’t have my computer so I’m writing this on my phone. Excuse any errors. I’m hoping to get to bed not too late so I want to get this post completed before the movie is over. I stayed in my pajamas all day, although different pairs since I did laundry. It was awesome.

I also had the opportunity to talk more with my puppy raiser and she is an absolute sweetheart!

I think that’s all for now, other than pictures of course. More tomorrow!

    1. It was a great day! My guide dog class supervisor ended up calling American Airlines and got it resolved, we hope. I hope to mostly fly Southwest in the future as they are amazing. I haven’t ever flown Virgin.
