Yesterday marked three months that Makiko and I have been home. Can you believe it? March 17, 2013 Makiko and I flew home from Oregon. I am so in love with my baby.

These three months have been filled with learning Makiko.. figuring out a few health issues of Makiko’s… learning routes with Makiko.. loving on Makiko.. Makiko loving me back… traveling by several airplanes, a train, and many buses with Makiko.. working with her around other guide dogs.. teaching my friends and classmates about her.. grooming her.. spoiling her.. buying her new toys.. being independent and doing things that I never would have done without her.. being free. (And much much more!)

I am very blessed to have my Makiko and can’t believe it’s been three months. It seems like a long time and a short time all at the same time.

I love you Makiko and thank you for your never-ending love and guiding that allow me to do everything I do today.
