November 30, 2013: Hot showers

My sister is currently studying abroad in Kenya. She often bathes in the local bodies of water, rarely ever is it hot, they have to boil it to make it drinkable, etc. Comparing that to when I complain about how our apartment shower doesn’t get hot water if the washer/dryer is running makes me feel silly. So today, I am very grateful for the fact that I almost always have hot showers, except for a few rare occasions.
