New Year’s!

New Year’s was a lot of fun!! For most of my life I spent New Year’s with my family in Colorado. A few years ago I started coming home to spend New Year’s with my boyfriend, and he always hosted the New Year’s party at his house. This year, one of his good friend’s girlfriends hosted the party at his condo. I bought Makiko a new knotted rawhide bone thing, brought her the blanket her puppy raiser gave her, and she had a ball. She was distracted on that blanket for hours while I hung out with others. She got up only a few times to go say hello to me or the other familiar faces that we’ve hung out around a lot. She was perfect. This was, of course, our first New Year’s together too! 🙂
