Makiko is Loved!

There have been a lot of depressing or negative posts on my blog lately as I go through this transition and navigate a lot of obstacles.

But we have a ton of smiles and cuteness in our daily lives, so I wanted to share one thing that makes us happy.

At work, I don’t let many people pet Makiko. Essentially, if I have a relationship with them outside of work or you are my boss, I will let you pet her but otherwise not. The people that I choose to hang out with outside of work and my boss are all very respectful and know the boundaries so it works out just fine.

Well one of my close work friends and her daughter bought Makiko some toys for her birthday in July. They bought her this awesome bone that she loved (and devoured) and this purple cow. Makiko loves bringing the cow to my coworker and playing with her. As soon as I gave it to her out of the bag back in July, Makiko would run and take each of the toys to my coworker to say thank you. It was so cute.

Anyway, here are some pictures. Makiko and I are so loved, and she is so spoiled! 🙂
